How to apply to micro1
micro1 pays established companies, and companies that have closed, for operational documentation and workflow data that it prepares for frontier AI development. You apply on micro1's own site. Below: who qualifies, what to prepare, and how its process works, from its own pages as of 2026-10-25.
Before you apply
- Check you meet micro1's published rules: 30+ employees; accepts operating, closing, closed companies.
- List your systems, years of history and who can export each one. The data inventory worksheet helps.
- Confirm the records are yours to license and note what must stay out (HR, legal, customer data held under contract, regulated data).
- Decide in advance whether you would accept an exclusive license, and for how long.
